Pampas Design: How Do You Arrange Dry Pampas Grass In A Vase?

There are hundreds of ways to pair dried flowers with pampas to add elegance to any place.

Today, we’ll walk you through the steps to make a stunning pampas grass arrangement in a vase.

Things You Will Need

  • Pampas Grass
  • Dried flowers
  • Hairspray
  • Tape
  • Scissors
  • Vase

Step 1: Gather Materials

First, select pampas grass and dried flowers of your choice.

You can either dry flowers at home or purchase them from a store.

To prevent shedding, spray hairspray on all dried flowers.

Step 2: Vase

Choose a vase that works well with height and goes with the color scheme of your flowers.

Then, apply clear tape in a grid pattern to the opening of the vase. This will keep each stem in its place.

Step 3: Cut Stems

Stems should be cut into three different heights to be arranged in rows heightwise.

Hold each flower up to the vase and trim the stem depending upon the height you want the flower to be. This will give you three sets to work with.

Step 4: Add Tallest Stems

Place pampas grass and leaves at the back of the vase.

Then, add stems of the largest flowers – this will add texture to your arrangement.

Step 5: Add Flowers

Once the foundation is ready, add grounding and shorter flowers to the front.

For this, you can use a variety of flowers in contrast.

Add shorter grasses and other dried plants for a fuller look and hide the taped grid.

With this, your vase with pampas will be ready for display.

Conclusion

Pampas with flowers are sure to brighten up your workplace, home, or events.
